Interactive Rhythm Teacher: a free rhythm and timing trainer
Build a rhythm, hear it, and play along with a visual metronome that shows every accented beat. You can divide a bar into groups to make accent patterns, practise 3/4, 4/4 and 5/4 with groupings that cross the barline, and drill true tuplets such as triplets and quintuplets against a steady pulse.
To test yourself, the Echo Chamber plays a rhythm, you tap it back, and it scores how close your timing was. Study Mode takes you through graded rhythm exercises from beginner to advanced, and there are preset rhythms from Afro-Cuban, West African, Indian, Balkan and Latin traditions to learn from. It works for any instrument.
